There’s never peace in the Middle East
As war and violence continues in Gaza, people have been wondering what the cause of the ruthless and brutal killing of over 50 children and 200 people in Palestine over the past month. Hospitals have been bombed, there are no remaining testing facilities in Palestine to date. People are praying for a ceasefire just to return to their already broken and shattered homes. Not to mention the constant torment and discrimination by the Israeli police.
People in the community of Palestine have tried expressing their feelings and rights of humanity, however little care is given within the state, despite the worldwide divide over who’s right and wrong.
Israel has removed over 700 000 settlers from Palestine and occupied their land since 1950. To date, these Palestinians and their generations of families have been living as foreigners to a land that was once theirs, due to a treaty signed by the UN authorizing the Palestinian land to Israel post WWII. However what was not taken into account was the livelihoods of the people who already live there.
What is happening now is not a religious debate, or a political issue. It is ethnic cleansing to a scale of mass genocide. The babies wounded and dead, the kids losing their parents and the parents losing their kids. This is not a fight, this is a bullying state using their US funded power to incite fear and dictatorship to a country of people that can’t do anything about it. They can’t leave or stay, they can’t access emergency services, basic needs and clean water.
A video was released of Israeli police driving in SUV’s spraying feces infested water onto the streets of homes where Palestinians would not leave. The destruction and level of disgust from the Israeli state is not only wrong, but tragic on all levels of basic humanity and common sense.
